My name is Renee Price, and I founded The Human Price to shed light on the real cost of survival in America today. I’ve watched good people work themselves to exhaustion, only to find that security is still just out of reach. I’ve seen compassion get lost in politics, judgment, and profit margins — and I wanted to create a space where empathy could take its place again.

With a background in leadership, digital marketing, and storytelling, I’ve spent my career helping others find their voice — first in business, then in writing, and now through this platform. My path has led from managing large teams to running my own online businesses, studying web design, and writing children’s books that celebrate kindness and imagination. Those experiences taught me how powerful stories can be — they connect, heal, and remind us that we’re not alone.

The Human Price was born out of that belief. Here, I share the stories that too often go untold: families stretching paychecks, workers displaced by layoffs, immigrants navigating impossible systems, and people judged unfairly for circumstances beyond their control. These aren’t just tales of struggle and triumph — they’re reflections of who we are as a society, and who we could be if we chose understanding over indifference.

My hope is that through honesty, compassion, and community, The Human Price becomes more than a blog — it becomes a movement for empathy. Because when we start to see each other clearly, we realize the cost of living shouldn’t include losing our humanity.
